Hi Milton Support Group volunteers,

With the recent changes to the lockdown restrictions, we realise that some of you might be less available to volunteer now than you previously were - for instance, with greater work commitments, or changes to childcare arrangements.  If this is the case for you, please let us know via the covidmilton@gmail.com address, and we can update your details.

The County Council are trying to gauge the level of support that volunteer groups such as ours are providing.  If you are providing ongoing support to someone, please could you email covidmilton@gmail.com with a rough idea of what you've helped with over the last month, and how often?  E.g. "3 x shopping & 1 x prescription for Mr Smith"

Wonderfully, we have volunteers who we have not yet needed to ask to support anyone.  If you are supporting someone, and would appreciate sharing the load with someone else, or even stepping back and having someone else take a turn, please do get in touch.  We don't want volunteering to become a burden on anyone.

We've not yet had any kind of big meeting where all the volunteers can come, meet the core group, ask questions and hear any updates on how things have been going, and might progress over time.  So, we've found a couple of time slots where (most of) the core group are available.  Hopefully you can join us in a Zoom call for one of those.  The first is tonight - sorry for the extremely late notice!
